Recently I was able to take possession of the rifle built for my by Bill Striplin at Striplin Custom Gunworks. Bill is a mechanical genius. He produces what I believe to be the most advanced rimfire race rifle available. It’s called the Lite Speed. As the name suggests, it is light and extremely fast.
The rifle’s stock is completely adjustable for length of pull and comb height. Striplin designed it so that it would fit any person regardless of stature. This allows one to set the rifle up how ever it best fits them. There are many hours of design CNC machining that goes into each rifle.
The idea is that when the rifle is adjusted properly, you will be able to acquire the first target very quickly. As soon as the stock touches your cheek, the red dot should be on the plate. It is also set up so that one can simply remove the Holosun optic and use the iron sights customized by Striplin. His unique and innovative design allows the shooter to switch back and forth from Open to Limited rifle divisions using one rifle. What I find even more impressive is the fact that the iron sights have a true co-witness with the red dot. This means that the exact same hold one uses for Open also works for Limited. This is immensely helpful when transitioning back and forth in Steel Challenge matches or Rimfire Challenge matches where one will often shoot more than one division.

One cannot determine just how light this rifle is from the pictures. It simply has to be experienced to be truly appreciated.
